Hey, gurls! =)

I went back to Convent to me with Wann Chiing to meet up with the teachers there. Nice to see these familiar faces again. Walked to whole school. We even went into the library. We saw our 'beloved' headmistress there. Sigh. Spent more than 2 hours in Convent.

Then, we head of to Pelangi. Met Yiyi at Seasons and have or lunch there. After that, we went to redbox for our k sessions. Except for being out of pitch, out of tune and out of rhythm, our singing was close to perfect. When Siew Lee and Audrey came along, yiyi had to go. Bagged 5 hours of k session with them.

Next, we went to f cube for dinner. F cube is a place where they have various types of board and card games from all around the world. I think it only exist in JB. We even managed to trick the waiter there thanks to audrey's superb acting skills.

They brought us a game where there are many jagged pieces like those in the game, tetris. except that it consists of 4 colours. We were also given a board and we had to chose a colour each. For this game, we are suppose to link the pieces together, edge to edge. This way, we can block the pathway of opponents. After playing for 3 times, we were bored and decided to play a trick on the people managing this place. Amazingly, we managed to fit ALL our pieces into the board. Then, we called one of the waiter over.

Audrey: Err. we got all out pieces in already. But we still dunno who lose.
Waiter 1: *Surprised look* is that how u all have been playing all along?
Siew Lee: Yalar. That fellow taught us. *Points*
Waiter 2 walks over, with a blur face. Waiter 1 and 2 were so fascinated with all the pieces we managed to fit in such that they went and show the rest of the waiters running the shop. Next thing we knew, they were busy taking pictures of it.
Waiter 2 walks over with another set of games.

Waiter 2: Ok. I'll teach u all this game instead.
Siew Lee: Will teach us wrongly like just now or not? *looks suspicious*

And that. Is the kinda crazy friends I have in JB. =))

10 crazy days in subang

7th Jan

Went to subang with Daphne and Jessie. Real longggg bus trip. Daphne went to her friend's place.

8th Jan

Taylor's awards ceremony. Met Ms. Rajani and Mr. Ng, and of course class mates of G3. Met up with them in Sunway pyramid and off we go, to Steph's house for 'barbeque' dinner. 18 of us in her house. Vaguely remembered a conversation with Steph on msn, later that day.
Steph: my house damn small right?
Elsie: besides being able to fit 100 elephants, yup. ur house is damn small.

9th and 10th Jan

Hang out with Mei Yan. Brought my sis along. Went to my cousin's house in Klang, with my sister. My father came from johor, bringing with him my sis's luggage for the year. Yes, she's also doing SAM in Taylor's. 'Helped' her unpack her luggage when we are back in Subang. My father went back on the 10th. My sis's room mate checked in.

11th Jan

Brought my sis and her friends to Pyramid. Went for Avatar in 3D. Amazing effects though strenuous for the eye as the movie was 2 hours and 45 minutes.

12th Jan

Hang out with Joanne. We went for ice skating and a movie, Old Dogs. Yup. Fun day out.

13th Jan

Went and buy SAM books in Taylors. Taylors was like a flea market the whole day. Had loads of books to carry back at the end of the day. Managed to hitch a ride back to my sis's place, thanks to yu chuan. Went to shu ying's place after that with Jon, Chin Fei and Travis. Shu Ying too has a big, big house. Had dinner with them before they sent me back. And Jon had his super blonde moment with buttons in the restaurant. I walked into some car's side mirror. Hurts damn a lot lar. =( But real funny.

14th Jan

Help sell books while waiting for Kai Ping to sell hers. And we were off to KTAR. Made a blunder of UTAR and KTAR. Finally, we reached Zetong, Wan ying and Sin Ying's 难民厅 safely. Took a LRT and monorail to Sungei Wang to shop. Inserted monorail's card the wrong way, such that the gate just refuse to budge. Had the guard laughing at me.

15th Jan

Went to visit KTAR as Sin Ying managed to smuggle us in. Gave Zetong and Wan Ying a shock. They introduced their friends to us. Kai Ping was real funny. Kept saying that very long didn't see so many trees or come to 'kampung' when she was comparing it with Taylor's in Subang. Came back to Subang after that. Sin Ying was real kind to take me half the journey, as i was gong back alone. Reached back at about 12 noon. Took another bath, and went out with Chin Fei, Jon and Jay to Redbox in Sunway Pyramid. I think they are addicted to it already.

16th Jan

Went to my cousin's house in Klang again. Met all my cousins, aunts and uncles who are staying in Klang. Watched 'bodyguards and assassin' in Jusco. Bloody.

17th Jan

Waited for my father to finish his meeting. Went to Pudu bus station and here i am, back home.

~2010 !!!~

Oh. I left my blog for 3 weeks. Pretty much proves that i'm so NOT addicted to blogging. Had a GREAT new year's eve this year. Manage to catch Wan Ying, Zetong and Jiayi before they go back to kl. We also managed to meet Jasmine and her group of friends when we were having dinner. And finally, countdown with Daphne's and my family.

New year resolution:
1. Shut up for a bit. (According to my friends and sisters, that's NOT possible.)
2. Increase efficiency, stop procrastinating. (Start by packing luggage bag)
3. Study hard, play hard in uni. (Yay! i'm going to uni)

Ok. Only three this year. Had a long list last year, but.... i think i failed half of it. =(

Oops. Real late post.

Outing again.

Went to City Square with Agnes, Eric and Brandon. Eric treated us to lunch. Then, he and Brandon happily ditched us. Real gentleman right, Agnes?

Then, Agnes and I went to the cinemas to watch Alvin and The Chipmunks 2. They are real cute. Didn't regret it. After that, we gossip-ed so much that we had to find a place to sit as we weren't exactly looking at where we were going. I guess that's what all Convent girls do when they are together? Anyway, we ended up in Coffee Bean.

Can't believe I've known Agnes for 12 years. Although I wasn't very close to her last time, I guess studying SAM together for that few months really did bring us a little closed. =) Hope she'll be happy doing whatever course she might take in the future. Oh ya, Agnes. Thanks for the shirt.

PS. Oh no. I haven't watched Avatar. And Sherlock Holmes. And Feng Yun.
PSS. Where are we going for our countdown??

Celebrating Christmas

I'm back from Terengganu, my grandmother's house. Celebrated Christmas there. Nearly all my cousins were there. Seems like it was because it might be our last time together before I leave for Melbourne. Touched larrrr. =))

To celebrate Christmas, we decided to have performances. We had group meetings everyday we were there, sometimes till 3 am. I was the eldest there as our older cousins haven't arrived. Thus, yours truly naturally had to assigned jobs to the rest of them.

After 3 days of preparation, it was Christmas. I think my sister, Cassie had the toughest job of all. Imagine trying to teach some dance steps to 3 people who didn't dance before. Had a good laugh when we were practicing. Our first performance on the itinerary was our dance, Wonder Girls' - Nobody. Next, we performed sign language for the song,放我的真心在你的手心. Loved that song. Then, we had another dance. This time by Queenie and Cassie, who can dance. They performed Circus, by Britney. Lastly, we sang Do Re Mi and some Christmas carols, to entertain the small kids. It was so fun that we had encores. For our encores, we pulled adults to join us. Our uncles and aunts are a sport. They did whatever poses we made them do. After that, we even danced to a song named Shake It, Baby. It was a little like doing aerobics though.

Finally, we ran out of ideas for performances. Next thing I knew, we were playing a game of 'the more we get together'. Adults joined us. Their hand-eye coordination were not as good as ours. So much such that we were laughing at them the whole night. Next, we had exchanging gifts. It was my first time exchanging Christmas presents. Coincidentally, I fished Rene's name and she fished my name from the box. So, I exchanged my gift with her. I gave her a USB fan, shape like a cute frog. She gave me a huge blue clip, to clip papers. It'll come in useful as I'll bring it to Melbourne with me next year.

We went to the beach everyday. Made a turtle laying eggs with Rene and Cassie on our last day there.

Terengganu's beaches are still the best, in my opinion. I don't mind celebrating Christmas like this every year. =)

PS. Pictures grabbed from Dellynn. Credits to her. Lazy to download mine lar.
PSS. my temper sucks these days. It's starting to get me into loads of trouble. =(

Singapore Again!?

Been pretty busy these days. Sister and cousins in some Buddhist camp. So i had to find some way to entertain myself. Schedule as below.

Wednesday
Frightful day. Results for SAM were released. Slept like a log until my mum had to kick me outta bed. Yup. I got 94.8. A tiny bit below my expectation as I was hoping for 95. But enough to get me into university and course of my first choice. =) Thought of going to collect my results on that day. But results only coming out on Thursday. Next thing I knew, I'm in Singapore... zoo. Ahahhahha. Thanks to my 2 super young cousins who are hyper noisy. Nearly died on the way there. Then, went to night safari. See animals till I nearly became 1 myself. Went home. Managed to chat with Mei Yan before I hit the sack.

Thursday
Another day in Singapore. Not the zoo this time... Bird Park. Wonder why I agreed to it huh? Walked till i nearly died of exhaustion. Now, when i close my eyes, I feel like there are owls or eagles nearby. Went home in the evening. Then, my mum and I went and check out my sis n cousins in the Buddhist camp as there were some activities where parents are involved. Then, my parents, my super young cousins and Siao Chui they all had supper together with Daphne and her family. Had a nice, long chat with her.

Going to Singapore again tomorrow. This time, we are going to Sentosa Island. Finally. I can see some fun coming my way. =)

Will be posting up pictures real soon. Countdown starting 3 years from now. Stay tuned. =)

Professional Badminton

Yonex Super Series in Johor ended. So fast. Just as I was getting hooked on to watching the games.

Went to the stadium with my mum, Cassie and Edmund. It was Edmund's first time watching a real game. Wong Mew Choo was up first. She improved tremendously. She was quite accurate in placing the shuttlecock. She manage to tire her opponent out long before the game ended. Thus, she was able to secure her gold medal. Proud of her.

I remember also watching women and men doubles from Malaysia. Women doubles were represented by Chin Eei Hui and Wong Pei Tty. Their world ranking is number 5. They too managed to win in the finals. In my opinion, Chin's smashes were quite good.

Malaysia sent 2 teams for the men doubles. As expected, Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong were there. Made quite a good deal of mistakes. I think they are the best men's pair in Malaysia. However, their inconsistency are often disappointing. Next pair are Fairuzizuan and Zakry. Both pairs did not qualify for the semi finals.

Lastly, we have Datuk Lee Chong Wei playing against Bao Chun Lai. Was really excited to watch them play. However, Bao Chun Lai's same old knee problems caused him lots of trouble during the game. He wasn't smashing as he usually is. Towards the end of the game, both of them looked more like they were having a training. I'd expected much more, as Bao Chun Lai had just won the Japan Super Series 2 months ago. Anyway, our Datuk won Park Soon Hwan in the finals.Weird huh? Have to call him datuk although he's only 27? Finals was an easy game for him. He played like a tiger - playing with its prey before swallowing him up. He slowed the pace of the game initially, but during the second set, he moved fast. I've seen Lin Dan using this tactic before. I guess it's only for the super pros?

Another game etched deeply in my mind was when Peter Gade (Denmark) played against Boonsak Ponsana (Thailand) . I think they are pretty good. Although with the Lin Dan and Chong Wei, it'll be tough for them to be the cream of the crop.

This Super Series wasn't fantastic as many China and other top badminton players wasn't here. Plus, tickets were quite expensive compared to other games my friends and I went during the previous years. Their next game will be in Laos. Somebody, sponsor my air tickets please.=)

By the way, my family and I had dinner after watching the match in the stadium on Friday at some hawker centres. Saw nearly all the badminton players from various countries and their coach there having steamboat. Seems that the hotel they were staying was just nearby. Oh. And Bao Chun Lai looks better in person. =) I've said this for the 10000000th time. He caught me staring and pointing at him. Oops. But I guess he should be used to it by now. If only I had been thick-skinned enough to walk up and have steamboat with them......

Still dreaming.
